Every instructor at Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance has either a college degree in dance, professional experience, or both.

Beverly Rogers

​Beverly Rogers is the founder and director of the Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance. She holds a BFA in Dance from Stephens College and an MA in Theatre Arts from Case Western Reserve University. A respected adjudicator for national dance competitions, Beverly has led award-winning competition companies since 1985, with students earning regional and national titles while pursuing professional careers on Broadway, national tours, cruise ships, television, film, and with companies including Louisville Ballet. Her academy has been recognized among the nation's top competition schools, and her dancers have worked with many of the industry's leading choreographers. Beverly's greatest passion is inspiring students to develop confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of dance.

David Foresman

Since joining the Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance in 2005, Mr. Foresman has helped elevate the studio's technical excellence, contributing to its recognition as one of the nation's top competition schools. He is passionate about providing exceptional dance education and inspiring dancers of all ages to reach their full potential.Mr. Foresman has taught dance nationally and internationally since 1984, including at New York City's Broadway Dance Center, Dance Space Center, Equinox, Crunch Fitness, San Jose Ballet, and the University of California, Santa Cruz, as well as in the Czech Republic and Japan. As a professional performer, he appeared in productions across the U.S. and Europe and danced with numerous ballet and modern dance companies. He also studied Anatomy and Physiology, Massage Therapy, Functional Assessment, and Shiatsu at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City.

Trish Steckenrider

Trish Steckenrider is a dance educator, choreographer, and arts administrator with more than 20 years of experience in dance education, performance, and choreography. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Missouri State University and has studied with nationally recognized instructors and choreographers throughout her career. Trish has choreographed numerous award-winning routines and is passionate about developing strong technical foundations while encouraging confidence, creativity, and artistic expression in every dancer. She is proud to be part of the Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance, where she is committed to inspiring the next generation of dancers through excellence in training and a genuine love of the art form.

Emily Brown

Miss Emily grew up between Middle Tennessee and Washington D.C. where she was trained in classical ballet and modern dance. In 2009 she received a BA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Sweet Briar College before moving back to Washington DC to begin her teaching career. Miss Emily has nearly 15 years of experience teaching and choreographing for dancers of all ages and skill levels. Her favorite genres are classical and contemporary ballet as well as contemporary. She recently moved to Paducah, Kentucky where she is currently studying to become a nurse. Outside of dance and school, Miss Emily loves yoga, cooking, and spending time with her sweet Cavapoo named Juno. She is very excited to share her love of movement with everyone at BRD!

Elena Foresman

Mrs. Foresman trained as a rhythmic gymnast, ballerina, and modern dancer from age 8. She made the national dance team in Russia and competed against the best rhythmic gymnasts in the world. She has performed internationally and has worked with renowned choreographers Nina Buisson and Le Min Tam. She is now an Ultrasound Technologist at St. Francis Medical Center and continues to share her knowledge and experience as an instructor at the BRD Academy. Ms. Beverly is proud to have such an accomplished professional teaching at her school!

Kelly Fulton

Kelly Fulton is an award-winning choreographer, educator, and adjudicator based in the St. Louis area. She has represented the United States internationally as a featured soloist with The American Dance Company, helping earn consecutive World Dance Championship titles, and as Rainbow Dance Competition's "Dancer of the Year" in performances throughout Canada and Australia. Kelly has also performed in choreography showcases in New York City and Los Angeles.

Known for her innovative choreography and dynamic teaching style, Kelly travels nationwide teaching master classes and creating award-winning routines for studios and competitive dance teams. She has received numerous choreography honors, including the prestigious "Choreographer of the Year" award from VIP Dance Competition. Kelly also serves as an adjudicator, tabulator, and director for Hall of Fame Dance Challenge and has taught for leading conventions including Tribe Dance Convention and KAR Dance Convention.

Passionate about developing the next generation of artists, Kelly is dedicated to inspiring dancers to reach their fullest potential. Her students have earned acceptance into prestigious collegiate dance programs and have gone on to successful professional careers in Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, and aboard international cruise lines.

Julia Grubbs

Julia Grubbs began dancing at the Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance at just two years old and quickly discovered her passion for performing. After an award-winning competitive dance career, she earned a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Accounting from Point Park University, where she performed works by renowned choreographers Dwight Rhoden, Robert Battle, and Twyla Tharp. Julia is a New York City-based dancer, singer, actress, aerialist, and personal trainer whose professional credits include Cedar Point's Luminosity, Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Nightbeats: Revamped, Norwegian Cruise Line, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Piano Man at the Palace Theatre, and Cirque Dreams Holidaze at the Grand Ole Opry. She has also performed in a Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit at the Lion King Theatre on Broadway. Julia is thrilled to return to the Academy as a guest instructor, sharing her professional experience and passion for inspiring the next generation of dancers.

Kate LeBuhn

Miss Kate LeBuhn began her dance training at the age of 4 with the Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance (BRD). She joined the BRD competition troupe at age 6 and studied under the teachers at BRD for 14 years. During her time at Tilghman high School, she received the following accolades: Salutatorian of her Class - Distinguished Student Award - The Citizenship Award - and Miss Tilghman. Miss LeBuhn is currently a student at Harvard University where she is majoring in Human Evolutionary Biology on a pre-med track and secondary in Dance & Music. She is a member of the Harvard Contemporary Collective - a premiere contemporary dance group at Harvard College. She is currently on the board that oversees finances and treasury for the Harvard Contemporary Collective. Kate is looking forward to sharing her love for dance with all the amazing young dancers at the Academy and hopes to ignite her same love for the Art in each one of them at The Beverly Rogers Academy as a guest instructor.
